IGONC at the Durham Bulls

 

On Friday, July 12, the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina (IGONC) will have an evening at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the group will start to enjoy a buffet of hot dogs, burgers, chicken breasts, macaroni and cheese, potato salad and more. Tickets costs $15 per person. AWAF Christmas in July

 

On July 16, the Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation (AWAF) will hold its annual Christmas in July event at Leon and Lulu in Clawson, MI. From 5:30-8:30 p.m., attendees will enjoy an evening of networking and shopping with 10 percent of sales being donated to AWAF. Appetizers, wine and soda will be served. Additionally, there will be a book signing by AWAF scholarship recipient Anna Sun who wrote “Sara’s Spark for STEM,” illustrated by Vanessa Martin. For more information, visit awafoundation.org.

 

WAC July Meeting

 

On July 17 at 6 p.m., Women in Automotive and Collision (WAC) will host its monthly membership meeting at Ranken Technical College. The group will learn about the school’s programs and discuss upcoming association events. For more information, visit wacstl.com.

 

ASA Northwest’s Family Fun Night

 

On Wednesday, July 31, ASA Northwest will host its annual Family Fun Night at Cheney Stadium. An all-you-can-eat buffet will begin at 6:30 p.m. The game will begin at 7:05 p.m. with attendees cheering on the Tacoma Rainiers as they play the Omaha Storm Chasers. ASA-AZ Tucson Chapter Automotive Roundtable

 

On July 2, ASA-AZ’s Tucson Chapter will host its monthly Automotive Roundtable at El Corral Restaurant in Tucson, providing an opportunity for shop owners and managers to discuss the daily challenges they face in their businesses.

 

FADRA’s Annual Convention

 

On July 18-21, the Florida Auto Dismantlers and Recyclers Association (FADRA) will host its Annual Convention and Trade Show at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, FL. For more information or to register, visit fadra.org.
