The ASA’s goal is to advance excellence in the service and repair industries. Molla said one of the benefits of the meeting, aside from the training and education, is the ability to network with like-minded peers.

“It’s important for our members to have the opportunity to meet face-to-face at least once a year,” Molla said. “In today’s connected environment, most of our news and information is delivered electronically. While this is certainly efficient, it can’t replace the value of personal interactions and networking as part of a robust involvement in the industry—it’s always better when you can put a name to a face.”

During the ASA updates, Fisher announced the launch of its new ASA app, which can be found in any phone’s app store.

“We partnered with MobileSoft to develop a new tool for our members to get news and information on the go, with additional features like an ASA Member Shopfinder, industry events, legislative news and member benefits,” said Molla. “MobileSoft can also provide a customized mobile app for any ASA member business at a very affordable price as part of our member benefits.”
