HABA To Host Fall Conference

On Nov. 12, the Houston Auto Body Association (HABA) will host a Fall Conference at the Wyndham West Energy Corridor in West Houston, TX, featuring presentations by Todd Tracy, Mike Anderson, Tim Ronak and Larry Cernosek. HABA will also be inviting sponsors and vendors to attend the event. HABA President John Kopriva noted, “We wanted to end the year with something really special.”

The focus of HABA’s 2018 Fall Conference is on prioritizing safe repairs. Texas attorney Todd Tracy will discuss the importance of repairing vehicles back to OEM specifications, and he has also agreed to bring in the Honda Fits from his crash tests for attendees to view.

Collision Advice’s Mike Anderson will teach attendees how to identify, find and document everything needed to perform a thorough and safe repair.

Tim Ronak, senior consultant for AkzoNobel, will emphasize why fixing the vehicle right must be a priority by providing electronic insurance company data and statistic tools to offer insights into why severity doesn’t matter when addressing consumer safety.

HABA Legislative Coordinator Larry Cernosek will provide new legislative updates that attendees will need to understand and embrace as they pertain to Texas shops.

Attendees will also have a chance to win a 55-inch television.

Kopriva shared, “HABA plans to host a lot more training and events in 2019 as part of our efforts to bring value to our membership.”

Attendance for the Fall Conference is free, but registration is required. For more information or to register, visit habaonline.org.
