ASA-CT’s 2018 Golf Outing

YANG to Hold Regional Meet-Up in Newport Beach, CA, on June 22

On June 22, the Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) will host a Regional Meet-Up at the Renaissance Newport Beach in Newport Beach, CA, in conjunction with CAWA’s Leadership Meeting. AASP-PA Motorcycle Run

On June 9, AASP-PA will hold its 2018 Motorcycle and Car Run at Knoebel’s Grove Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA. With lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m., attendees will enjoy a fun day at the park, which will include ride tickets and games at the group’s reserved pavilion as well as special awards, door prizes and giveaways. Registration costs $29 per person and $10 for children under the age of 4. Registration information is available at www.aasp-pa.org.


ASA-CO to Host 2 Training Sessions in June

ASA-CO will host “Telephone Skills/Dealing with Upset Customers” on June 5 and 6 at Western Community College in Grand Junction, CO. During this seminar, Greg Marchand from the Service Sales Academy will teach attendees good telephone skills.

On June 12 and 13, ASA-CO will host “Managing Time, Technicians and Productivity,” the next course in the association’s 2017/2018 Series. The training session will be held at Advance Auto Parts (CARQUEST) in Denver, CO. Held on two consecutive evenings, the seminar will focus on best practices for creating a production process that promotes efficiency, enhances quality and maximizes profit.

IAR’s Summer Outing to Feature Educational Opportunities Galore

On June 15--16, the Iowa Auto Recyclers (IAR) will hold its 2018 Summer Outing at the Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center in Okoboji, IA. Friday will feature a tour of Shine’s Okoboji Classics Museum and Vendor Reception, while Saturday’s agenda will include educational sessions with museum tours and a BBQ in the evening.
