Wayne County, MI Commissioner Honors Rony’s Body Shop for More Than 50 Years of Service

Wayne County Commissioner Raymond Basham (D-Taylor) presented a resolution to the management of Rony’s Body Shop in Taylor for more than 50 years of service to Wayne County residents.

Rony’s Body Shop, located at 11650 Allen Road, opened in Detroit in 1959 and moved to Taylor in the late 1960s.

“Rony’s is well known for its quality of workmanship, attention to detail and strong customer service,” Basham said. “Businesses like Rony’s are what keep communities strong, and they’ve put Downriver motorists back on the road for many years.”

Rony’s Body Shop specializes in vehicle body repairs and painting; frame and suspension work, including wheel alignments; brake repairs; auto glass repairs; and antique and classic car repairs and restorations.

Its website is www.ronysbodyshop.com.

Basham’s goal is to honor long time successful businesses in the 14th District, which covers Brownstown Township, Flat Rock, Rockwood, Taylor and Woodhaven.
