ASA Ohio CPL Receives Training from Collision Advice, DCR and Global Finishing

ASA Ohio’s Collision Performance Leaders Group (CPL) recently held its second meeting of the year in Columbus, OH, featuring educational presentations from three industry leaders.

“The ASA Ohio Collision Performance Leaders Group is designed to help local shop owners communicate amongst each other to improve the collision industry as a whole in their marketplace,” said Matt Dougher, executive director of ASA Ohio. “This group of shop owners always gets the most out of the ASA Ohio CPL meeting. They are the top shops in Central Ohio and always are trying to get better through education and learning from others.”


More than two dozen collision repair professionals, representing 15 different shops, attended the all-day event, facilitated by Mike Anderson of Collision Advice.


Topics included current burning issues for shops, comparisons of key performance indicators (KPIs) and a discussion about how shops should prepare for GM’s future business plans.


Additionally, Michael Giarrizzo, president of DCR Systems, shared information on DCR’s repair plan process and the software they’ve developed to improve efficiency of the process.
