The Ashwaubenon, WI, village board gave final approval Feb. 25 to a rezoning request from Broadway Automotive to have a collision center on property the company purchased near the corner of the Ashland Avenue access road and Industry Court.
Broadway Automotive is expanding at the corner with the two parcels it purchased being rezoned from B-3 Community Business to I-1 Light Industry.
Community Development Director Aaron Schuette said the rezoning is required under the village code to have a collision center on the property as a permitted use.
Mike Cuene, owner of Broadway Automotive, said the renovation plans for the property include having a collision center with approximately 70,000 to 75,000 square feet.
Cuene said Broadway Automotive’s planned expansion is intended for general administrative staffing, warranty administration, a vehicle buying center, offices, a business development center, a collision center and a parts department.
