Crash Champions, a leading Illinois-based collision repair group, announced Feb. 25 it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Auto Body Collision and Glass, a three-location collision group based in Columbus, OH.
As part of this announcement, the company will officially begin operations at these locations effective March 2.
This marks the first out-of-state acquisition for the Crash Champions organization.
Auto Body Collison and Glass, owned by Tom Carpenter, has been a market leader throughout the Columbus area for more than three decades.
It has been an outstanding performer for local insurance carriers and customers alike.
Carpenter said Crash Champions President and CEO Matt Ebert and his team will be an excellent choice to carry on and advance the traditions ABCG created.
Darrell Patterson, executive vice president of ABCG, along with his teammates, will be fully integrated into the Crash Champions team.
“I am very proud of what we have done and how far we have come. However, I am truly excited about the Crash Champions organization that our employees can now be an integral part of for many years to come,” said Patterson.
