The contract included a pledge by the company that it would invest $900 million at Chicago Assembly.

 

About 5,000 people work at Ford's Chicago Assembly Plant, including 4,800 hourly employees, while roughly 1,200 people work at Chicago Stamping Plant including 1,100 hourly employees.
