GM To End Production of Cruze in Lordstown, OH, 2 Days Before Previously Estimated

General Motors ended production of the Chevrolet Cruze at the Lordstown, OH, assembly plant on March 6, two days before they previously estimated.


GM had estimated that production of the Cruze would end on Friday, March 8, according to a news release from the company.


A GM representative stated “We know this will be an emotional day for our Lordstown team and we appreciate all their commitment and hard work to build the highest quality vehicles,” but said that they will not be providing the media access to the plant on March 6.
