Vehicle Damaged, Items Stolen While at Body Repair Business in KS

A Chevrolet Tahoe was damaged and items were taken from inside the vehicle Sept. 25 while parked at a Salina, KS, paint and body shop.


According to a report by Capt. Paul Forrester of the Salina Police Department, a video surveillance camera captured an unknown person breaking into a 2002 Tahoe between 3 and 5 a.m. Sept. 25 while it was parked at Brian’s Paint & Body Repair, 421 N. Chicago.


Taken from the vehicle were two stereo speakers and speaker boxes, Forrester said. There also was damage done to the vehicle’s door lock and weather stripping.


Total cost of damage and theft was estimated at $3,700, Forrester said.
