Rapid City, SD, Auto Businesses Join to Fix Veteran’s Car

“We are a veteran-friendly business, so we were happy to help this veteran who was obviously on a very limited income,” said Williams. “When Gerry saw the car, he was ecstatic. He served our country, so it was nice to be able to return the favor.”


Beardsley said when she spoke with Cameron about the number of people who helped fix his car, he broke down and cried.


“I told him that so many people wanted to thank him for his service in Korea,” Beardsley said. “Gerry said, ‘No one has ever done anything so nice for me.’”
