Fire Guts Auto Body Shop Filled With Cars in Evanston, OH

A two-alarm fire caused a "catastrophic collapse" of the roof at Camp's Collision Center at 1930 Dana Ave. in Evanson, OH, according to Assistant Fire Chief Tom Lakamp.


Lakamp said about 70 firefighters arrived shortly after 5 a.m. Jan. 19 to fight the flames at the body shop, which was filled with cars.


The flames were out around 7:30 a.m.


The cause is currently under investigation, Lakamp said. No one was injured in the fire.
