Auto Body Clinic owner Jeremy Blom is shown with a 2004 Chevy Malibu that will be given to a deserving individual or family in the “Wheels to Prosper” program. Nominations are now being accepted.

Know of a deserving individual or family in the Huron community in need of dependable transportation?

The Auto Body Clinic is accepting nominations for the “Wheels to Prosper” program for people in Huron and the surrounding areas.

A person must be nominated with a letter explaining why that individual or family is deserving of the opportunity to receive a 2004 Chevy Malibu.

The car is on display in front of the Auto Body Clinic, 670 21st St. S.W., now and for the next couple months until a recipient is chosen.

Auto Body Clinic owner Jeremy Blom said he has decided to “give back to the community that gives us so much” by giving away a car.

The ideal person is someone not thinking of themselves, but instead is always looking out for others, he said.

Nominations can be mailed to “Wheels to Prosper,” 670 21st St. S.W., Huron, S.D. 57350.

All of the nominations will be reviewed and the deserving person will be selected by a committee consisting of business professionals.

All nominations need to include the following information: the nominating person’s name, address and phone number; why that person believes the nominated person needs and deserves the opportunity to receive the 2004 Chevy Malibu; and the nominee’s name, address and phone number.

For more information on the nominating process, visit www.huronautobodyclinic.com and click on the ‘Wheels to Prosper’ logo.
