On Dec.11, AASP-MO’s Gateway Collision Chapter hosted its annual Toys for Tots Christmas Social and Christmas Party at Syberg’s Restaurant in St. Louis, MO.

According to Ron Reiling, executive director for AASP-MO, “This is the time of year we show our communities that we do so much more than merely repair vehicles. Our event went fantastically with the most toys we have ever collected – 3,500, almost double from 2018! We had 75 collision repair professionals attend our Annual Christmas Party, and everyone had a great time celebrating a kickoff to the Christmas season.”

AASP-MO’s donations will be distributed to needy families in the St. Louis area. In 2018, Toys for Tots was able to provide gifts for 43,000 children, thanks to the generosity of local communities.

Reiling said, “This year’s Toys for Tots Drive exceeded our expectations. Thank you to our members that stepped up and sponsored the event. Food sponsors included Enterprise, Cooper Color, PPG and Caliber Collision with Automotive Technology (ATI), ABRA Glass, CARSTAR, Chapman & Hogan Insurance, Chief Automotive Technologies, Cooper Color, Don's Auto Body, Don's Body Shop Mitchell and PPG sponsoring beverages. Thank you to all of the sponsors for helping to make this such a great evening.”

“I really like that this yearly event brings our members together with a great community-minded goal,” Reiling added. “It shows our communities that we do so much more than just fix cars.”
