According to KABA President Jeff Oldenettel, “The event went well with 12 different facilities and 15 industry professionals in attendance. Everyone was engaged and appreciative of KABA, and there were lots of discussions and conversation about the industry. It really exceeded my expectations.”
KABA hosted this training event to help attendees better understand estimating procedures and processes. Specifically, they discussed how to procedurally document an accurate repair file for proper repairs.
Oldenettel noted, “Many things are left off unintentionally just due to the depth of knowledge necessary to properly use estimating systems.”
The purpose of the event was to enhance members’ knowledge and unify the group’s effort toward proper repairs. Oldenettel feels that the association and its events are important because they grant “local access to quality information that grows the industry within our state.”
Next, KABA will host a trade show in Wichita from April 26--27, 2019. For more information about the association and its planned events, visit kansasaba.com.
