Fondazione Memmo is presenting “Auto Body Collision,” an exhibition of work by the American artist Shannon Ebner, which will be on display at the Palazzo Ruspoli in Rome until June 27, 2014.
Taking collision as its theme, the exhibition explores the result of two or more inanimate objects that, as a result of an isolated incident, exert considerable force on each other. “Auto Body Collision” is curated by Cloé Perrone.
Born in 1971, Shannon Ebner lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Her work spans the diverse realms of photography, sculpture, architecture, and image and is included in many prestigious museum collections, notably that of the MoMA (New York), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles), and the Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam).
