The Iowa Collision Repair Association (ICRA) will hold a Collision Industry Education Day on Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Holiday Inn in Coralville, IA.
Noted industry speaker Mike Anderson will start the day with the educational seminar, “Upsell, Outsell and Close” that runs from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The intent of the presentation is to learn "how to maintain a 90% closing ratio-achieve Save outstanding profitability and create consistently satisfied customers."
The ICRA 2014 Fall Dinner Meeting will then run from 6-8:30 p.m. and cover State Farm’s implementation of its initiative with PartsTrader in Iowa. The ICRA dinner meeting agenda will be focused on parts procurement.

Anderson will facilitate the Parts Trader discussion at the dinner meeting.
“The association wants to bring as much information as we can to the industry in Iowa to assist them in making the correct decisions for their future,” said Janet Chaney, executive director of the Iowa Collision Repair Association. The Iowa Collision Repair Association, an affiliate of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists, has joined with other collision industry associations to condemn third party mandates upon collision repair businesses.
