GEICO, Driven Brands Donate Funds for Collision Repair Schools Through CREF

Driven Brands Collision Group and GEICO supported a combined 17 schools nationwide through donations for Benchmark Grants, distributed by the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF).

Driven Brands Collision funded $2,000 grants for 12 schools to help enhance students’ experience and elevate the caliber of graduates entering the field. These grants will benefit educational facilities located in CARSTAR, ABRA and Fix Auto USA markets.


“Our industry is advancing at a faster rate than ever before, and our facilities need new technicians who understand this new technology,” said Dean Fisher, president of Driven Brands Collision. “In partnership with the Collision Repair Education Foundation, we are excited about the potential we are seeing in these hardworking students, and we hope these funds fuel the growth of collision repair programs.”

  • East Valley Institute of Technology, Mesa, AZ
  • Gateway Community College Central City Campus, Phoenix, AZ
  • American River College, Sacramento, CA
  • Warren Tech, Lakewood, CO
  • Aims Community College Automotive Programs, Windsor, CO
  • North Idaho College, Coeur d'Alene, ID
  • Kootenai Technical Education Campus, Rathdrum, ID
  • Hennepin Technical College, Eden Prairie, MN
  • Montana State University Billings City College, Billings, MT
  • Metropolitan Community College, Omaha, NE
  • Chippewa Valley Technical College, Eau Claire, WI


GEICO sponsored five Benchmark Grants. Each selected school will receive a $3,000 grant.
