On the third day of the SEMA Show, Thursday, Nov. 4, attendees had an opportunity to walk throughout the West, South, North and Central halls as well as the outside lots where more than 1,300 exhibiting companies are showcasing their products and services.

These include exhibits from several auto manufacturers, including American Honda Motor, Ford Motor Company, General Motors and Lexus.

 

Showgoers can also visit the New Products Showcase #31255, Upper South Hall, to view thousands of new products and the 2021 award winners.

 

One of the highlights during the day was the OEM Collision Repair Technology Summit, held as part of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) Repairer Driven Education (RDE) Series. Three sessions took place.

 

The first, “Electric Vehicles,” featured representatives from GM, Lucid Motors and Rivian. The session explored the unique vehicle platforms of the participating manufacturers and how they will impact the collision repair industry in the future.

SCRS and I-CAR presentations continued to be held on the Collision Repair Stage #32145 in the Upper South Hall. On Nov. 4, there were discussions on I-CAR ADAS expansion, Subaru certification, non-repairable bumper covers, accessing Ford repair information and four-stage paint and matte from BASF and AkzoNobel.
