Mike Anderson of Collision Advice and Danny Gredinberg of DEG, in partnership with the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS), present Quick Tips for those in the collision industry.

A lot of people talk about the need to fully disassemble a vehicle prior to the beginning repairs, but not everyone does it well in their business.

In this video, Mike and Danny talk through the reasons 100% disassembly adds value to the process, and offer tips on introducing it to your workflow and effectively building a culture to support it.

We’ve all learned from our mistakes, and Mike shares lessons learned from his repair facilities and how he transitioned from always telling his technicians what to remove from the vehicle, to identifying why part removal was necessary so that they needed could apply their own critical thinking to the process. His application of guided discovery helped him institute a better understanding of why they need to perform critical tasks, and can be applied in any repair facility.

Learn how to discuss the benefits and establish how it effects every role in the process, document why 100% disassembly is valuable for blueprinting, for structural repair, for refinish and others, and how to build a definition of what complete disassembly means in your business.
