A majority of these vaccinated individuals include front line workers and employees at "essential" businesses.
To assist employers in collecting the vaccination status of employees during the pandemic, Sedgwick recently launched a cloud-based tracking program for the workplace, which also tracks vaccinations for the flu, hepatitis and other diseases.
“Tracking vaccination progress is an important part of our country’s pandemic recovery, and the same is true on the employer level when it comes to getting back to business,” said Kimberly George, Sedgwick global head of product development and innovation, in a statement. “Fully understanding vaccination trends among their workforces allows employers to best serve the needs of their people while keeping the workplace running.”
The vaccine tracking process begins with a brief questionnaire that collects voluntary employee data in a secure and private environment. The program then provides an individual- and department-level overview that identifies which employees have or haven’t received a vaccine, who needs a second dose, who is not planning to be vaccinated and who is experiencing side effects as a result of vaccination.
The state-of-the-art vaccination tracking solution is available to all organizations and is the newest addition to Sedgwick’s “back to business” program that helps businesses reopen safely amid the pandemic.
