The National Auto Body Council announced Jan. 13 that Sandi Freeman has joined the organization as the program manager for the NABC Recycled Rides initiative.

Freeman will lead the popular NABC program that has gifted more than 2,600 vehicles to families in need since it was launched in 2012.
Freeman was previously the manager of replacement accounts for Hertz, where she worked for more than 20 years. She brings a wealth of experience in the automotive industry, along with a passion for philanthropy, to the position.
“We are very fortunate to welcome Sandi Freeman to the National Auto Body Council team,” said Bill Garoutte, NABC president and CEO. “Her experience, enthusiasm and leadership, along with her fresh perspective on this flagship program, will be a tremendous asset as we continue to improve and expand our efforts to provide those in need with reliable transportation.”
Freeman replaces longtime NABC team member Linda Sulkala, who retired at the end of 2020.
“We congratulate Linda on her retirement, and thank her for her years of service and many contributions to the NABC Recycled Rides program,” said Garoutte. “We would not have achieved the milestones we have without her dedication, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”
