11:10 a.m.---Jim Keller and Mark Allen of the Industry Relations Committee will discuss “The Pandemic, Lessons Learned and How Might Our Business Models Look Different in the Future."
12:05 p.m.---Dan Risley and Trent Tinsley of the Data Access, Privacy & Security Committee will host a panel discussion regarding the Collision Industry Data Protection and Sharing "Golden Rules." Following the discussion, the "Golden Rules" will be presented for a formal vote. It is important to note that anyone in attendance is allowed to participate and the committee encourages any interested party to attend, cast their vote and let their voice be heard. Passage of the rules by those attending the virtual CIC would formalize the “Golden Rules” as an official CIC work product.
12:35 p.m.---Q & A and Open Mic
1:05 p.m.---Jason Bartanen of the Emerging Technology Committee will make a special taskforce presentation, giving an update and best practice suggestions on steering column inspections. At the July CIC meeting, steering column inspection issues were discussed; feedback is needed from CIC on suggested best practices before we present our findings and requests to the OEMs.
1:30 p.m.---Frank Terlep and Jake Rodenroth of the Future Disruptions Committee will lead a panel discussion on how EVs will disrupt the collision industry. Panelists include Mark Allen of Audi, Andy MacDonald of Lucid, Kelly Logan of Rivian and Mark Zoba of Nissan. The committee will present how electric vehicles will affect the collision industry.
