The Collision Indiustry Conference (CIC) announced the agenda for its virtual meeting, Nov. 10-11 on the Zoom platform.
Pre-registration is required. The CIC participants shall follow the published Participant Guidelines for in-person meetings, found here.
Instructions will be given by the chairman at the beginning of each session.
Day 1: Nov. 10 (all times Eastern Time Zone)
11 a.m.---Jeff Peevy offers the CIC chairman welcome.
11:15 a.m.---Chuck Olsen and Bob Augustine of the Emerging Technology Committee will go into detail on the many aspects of coding, programming and initialization of the modern vehicle.
12:15 p.m.---Darrell Amberson and Chuck Olsen of the Emerging Technologies Committee will continue the CIECA Workflow discussion by presenting details of the work between the CIC committee and CIECA.
12:45 p.m.---Nick Notte of I-CAR will respond to requests to develop a new ADAS technician role.
1:00 p.m.---Q & A and Open Mic: Attendees will be able to raise their hand, chat ask questions and offer comments they feel need to be brought forward. These will be read during this time, if they do not violate anti-trust laws, and others may be able to respond through texting or by raising their virtual hand to address verbally. This will be managed in the order the inquiries are received.
1:30 p.m.---David Willett and Winston Cover of the Education & Talent Pool Committee will discusses work around the one thing that if changed could make the biggest impact to our industry---talent pool challenges.
2 p.m.---Bob Redding and Darrell Amberson of the Governmental Committee will provide an update on the various legislative efforts across the country.
2:40 p.m.---Q & A and Open Mic
2:55 p.m.---Jeff Peevy will offer closing comments.
3 p.m.---Adjourn Day 1 Meeting
