New executive leaders of the South Coast chapter of the California Autobody Association invite the public to share in their new mission at an upcoming meeting. The New President and Vice President of the South Coast Chapter of the CAA personally invite all Southern California shops to attend. CAA members and non-members are welcome. With new leadership the South Coast Chapter is headed in a new direction and welcomes the opportunity to share their vision with shops in the South Los Angeles County area. Mark your calendars for July 18, 2007.
Did you know California door rates are down across the board? And did you know that the South Bay area has some of the lowest door rates in all of California? The Keynote speaker at this event will be Tim Ronak from Akzo Nobel’s Acoat selected® Consulting Services division and noted collision repair industry expert. His hour-long presentation entitled, “Economic Pricing Considerations for the Collision Industry” will focus on these key topics: “What 4 Conditions create pricing pressure in a market?,” “Why do labor rates vary in close geographic areas?,” “Have you ever been told that your severity is too high?,” and “Have you been told you charge too much?” Ronak will discuss how to effectively and intelligently understand, discuss and defend yourself in this complex environment of KPI monitoring while not alienating your key business partners.
As an added bonus all collision shop attendees will receive a tutorial CD tool that addresses the considerations involved in properly interpreting an assessment for partial panel refinishing in exchange for a business card and email address. This valuable tool can be put to work immediately for the benefit of your organization.
