Sam will lead Industrial Finishes’ human resources efforts, with an emphasis on recruitment, selection, on-boarding, retention, and organizational leadership development.
Sam recently retired from the Eugene Police Department after 26 years of service in the public sector at both the State and Municipal level. Over the course of his career, Sam has distinguished himself for his relentless commitment to organizational development, customer service, and employee wellness.
Sam is a graduate of Northwest Christian University with a BA in Management. He also graduated from the Senior Management Institute for Police by the Police Executive Research Forum and the FBI National Academy school of management. Prior to his police service, Sam worked in a number of industries including sales.
Since making Oregon his home in 1988, Sam and his wife Shannon have been married for 25 years and together they have two young adult sons.
