Senior Collision Software Analyst (Pathways)
Deliverables
Log Data Inquiries (DI) received from customers with little or no supervision/assistance.
(DI = Database Inquiry. A DI is a question on the content of the OEM collision estimating database, e.g., wrong Part Number, question on the labor time, etc.)
o Recreate the inquiry
o Define the issue from a data versus application perspective
o Determine the data source required to address the inquiry
o Confirm the inquiry resolution addresses the inquiry completely and correctly
o Provide support for data source questions and concerns
o Route inquiries throughout resolution process, as needed
o Execute processing within defined timetables
Track the timely receipt of inquiry resolutions
Work with resolution sources to resolve inquiries
Process and deliver the CompEst databases monthly
Process and deliver the Frame Dimension databases monthly
Participate in special database projects, as needed
Maintain strong proficiency in team tools
Quality
Test implemented resolutions with little or no supervision/assistance
Proactively test collision-estimating databases to assure accuracy and completeness
Report on results of proactive testing to identify prevention opportunities
Track Support inquiries applicable to the collision-estimating databases
Support
Receive, investigate, and respond to collision-estimating database issues identified by end users, Sales, Support, etc.
Participation in industry conferences as needed
Vision
Participate in design sessions for enhancements to processing tools
Contribute ideas on improvements to workflow and processing tools
Identify opportunities for proactive testing of collision-estimating databases
Skills Profile
* Excellent understanding of vehicle construction, repair, and parts – Vehicle damage repair and/or estimating a plus
* Very strong Pathways Collision Estimating tool experience
* Very good verbal and written communication skills
* Very strong telephone communication skills
* Excellent analytical skills
* Strong ability in use of MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel, Windows XP
* Very strong organizational skills
* Very strong time-management skills
* Good/experienced as an individual contributor and member of a team
* Experience learning new concepts quickly
* Minimally, a high school diploma
