CompleteShop, the body shop management program from Rome Technologies, will soon feature an interface to the auto dealer services management-accounting software from Universal Computer Systems (UCS). The two companies said they have formed a strategic partnership for creating a body shop management interface allowing CompleteShop users to upload files with repair order information from Complete-Shop to the UCS Computer System using the UCS Posting Data Upload application. 

The uploaded files from Complete-Shop will generate accounting records, which can then be posted into UCS' Management Accounting application. The new interface will save dealer-operated body shops time through the elimination of unnecessary keyboarding.

The partnering of Rome Technologies and UCS completes the suite for Rome's dealer connection (ADP, Reynolds & Reynolds and now UCS) by combining all components of the body shop operation with new car dealer services into one solution. "This helps our users escape from being locked into using ledger books and file folders at the shop level," said Rome President Scott Rome. "This empowers new car dealers with a complete arsenal of data management, accelerating profitability and maximizing customer service."
