DuPont Performance Coatings has introduced ColorNet Color Proofing, an application that allows painters to visually compare the vehicle color to the closest available paint formula using an ordinary computer monitor. This patented application is designed to help collision repair facilities put technology to work for faster, more accurate color matching.
Using the system, painters are able to retrieve and compare alternate colors on their computer screen, which the company says will significantly increase the speed of color matching and eliminate the need for inefficient color alternate decks.
The DuPont ColorNet Color Proofing application is only available to collision repair facilities using DuPont Cromax Pro waterborne basecoat. For more information, please call the DuPont Performance Coatings Customer Care Center at 800-668-6945.
