A new series of resistance welder/dent pullers, developed by ARC Manufacturing, operates on a combination of battery and transformer power - "hybrid" power in the workplace. 

The welder can produce 10,000 electrode amps with 10 feet of cable reach, and includes a high duty cycle. Unlike inverter welders, this welder only requires 110 volt 20 amp power source. This four-cable system has a smart digital microprocessor which monitors the welder's performance at all times.
