Doan and Company Auto Appraising and Decision Support Services, Inc. have begun a pilot program of DSS's estimate auditing solution, EMSReview. 

EMSReview audits collision estimates for compliance with insurance company rules on the appraiser's laptop, checking the estimate before it is uploaded to the insurance company. The audit checks for compliance with rates, required admin data and line items, aftermarket parts usage, pricing violations and other insurer business rules.

Doan and Company Western Region VP Dana Martini said, "Our appraisers may write eight different estimates for eight different carriers in one day, so it's easy to make a mistake."
