Chisum launches new line of benches E-mail
Sunday, 01 August 2004

Chisum Repair Systems is expanding its existing product line of frame machines, lifts, and anchoring systems by adding a new line of benches featuring both universal and dedicated jigs. Manufactured in Italy by Car Bench, these new products will be marketed in North America exclusively by Chisum under the name "Chisum Car Bench."

Chisum signed a long-term exclusive distribution agreement with Car Bench in July. Bruce Pohlig, president of Chisum, commented, "Our new line of benches offers body shops the most accurate repair equipment available. The Chisum Car Bench products are the same benches being used by numerous auto manufacturers around the world for prototyping and production of vehicles."

The Car Bench repair systems are approved by dozens of car manufacturers including Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Jaguar, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Renault, Rolls-Royce, Rover, Saab, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo. The benches also have the exclusive approval of Ferrari and Maserati.

The new line of benches and jigs are available today through Chisum's network of authorized dealers. Chisum has also announced plans to demonstrate the new line of benches at the upcoming NACE trade show in Las Vegas, November 4-6, 2004.

Chisum is based in Minnesota, the nation's largest hub for collision repair manufacturing, and offers the broadest line of premium frame machines, lifts, and anchoring systems in the industry.

The company's namesake, Lavell Chisum, is recognized worldwide as the legendary "Father of Modern Collision Repair." For more information, see our website at www.ChisumRepair.com.
