After a year on the market, BITA Spraybooths finally reveals its true identity. After the separation of Blowtherm S.p.A. Italia® and Blowtherm USA®, many rumors surfaced as to whether Blowtherm S.p.A. Italia would re-enter the U.S. market. The company now confirms that under the identity of BITA Spraybooths, Blowtherm S.p.A. Italia is back in the USA. 

New BITA spraybooth bears a striking resemblance to the original product manufactured by Blowtherm S.p.A. Italia.

Known for its top-of-the-line engineering and manufacturing, Blowtherm S.p.A. Italia has a new identity in North America. Due to the separation and the settlement with Blowtherm U.S.A., the trademark name of "Blowtherm" is licensed to what is now Global Finishing Solutions until the year 2009 in the USA.

Secret revealed at NACE 2004

"We had not seen so much traffic in a spray booth in a while," said Joel Padilla, sales manager for BITA Spraybooths West. "Many attendees at NACE 2004 inspected the spray booth hardware, light fixtures, heavy-duty doors and mechanicals saying "Those look like the original Blowtherms." When asked where the booths were being manufactured, the staff replied with a smile - Padova, Italy."

When asked about who makes the product, the staff replied: "Blowtherm S.p.A. Italia. We are now in the North American market as BITA Spraybooths."

According to the company, BITA Spraybooths has enhanced the old product with features that include air deflectors that create a curtain of air along the wall to reduce the amount of overspray that would otherwise end up on the walls.

An internal pneumatic ramp will solve the problem some shop owners have who are unable to excavate due to non-ownership of the property or soil conditions; no exterior ramps or excavation are required. A new generation of mechanicals, new engineering and better output of air that offers higher air volume, less gas consumption and superior air filtration are standard on all models.
