Students will be trained in all aspects of the auto body collision repair industry. The class will also include "externships," which are hands-on learning experiences in local auto body shops.
A total of seven auto body shops will participate.
Tracy Rice from Myrtletown Auto Body will teach the course at the CR Community Education building located on 525 D Street in Eureka.
The class dates are from Sept. 12 to Dec. 19 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The fee for this class is $500 and includes instruction and materials.
The externship dates are from Sept. 19 to Dec. 19 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be free informational meetings held on August 2, 16, and 30 at 6 p.m., at the CR Community Education location.
