The additional conference will take place at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas in Palm Springs, CA, from Dec. 10--11, 2017.
WIA founder Christy Roman explained, “This is our first attempt at holding two events in one year, and is based off feedback from our West Coast members that it’s difficult to travel to Orlando. We’re hoping to attract 200 attendees for our debut West Coast event. Nothing happens unless you try!”
The two-day seminar will provide a variety of educational opportunities pertaining to leadership, personal development, sales and marketing. WIA is also excited to offer a breakout session on driving sales for dealers.
However, Roman stressed, “Our event isn’t just for dealers. It’s for anyone working with dealers and women in particular. It’s a really cool event with great speakers and informative content.”
WIA holds its conferences to provide education to members and empower both women and men to create a culture for women.
“This is a difficult industry for females to work in, but we try to provide women with the tools to stick with it,” Roman noted.
WIA is still filling the schedule for its 2017 winter conference and will begin announcing speakers in November. Sponsorship opportunities are also still available. General admission is available for $495, or a one-day pass can be purchased for $195.
