When Chair Antonelli announced the appointment, he commented that "Mr. Suhr and Knox-Seeman Warehouse have been a member and major supporter of CAWA for some time. Thus, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Suhr as a representative to our Association's leadership."
Young Suhr currently serves APW Knox-Seeman (APW) as its Executive Vice President. He began his career with the company nine years ago, prior to which he spent 17 years in securitization finance. At APW, Young is responsible for working with management in the areas of warehouse operations, purchasing, sales, finance, and human resources.
Outside of APW, Young is currently serving his seventh year on the National Pronto Association's board of directors, for which he served as chairman in 2013. He also served one three-year term on the AWDA Council of Governors from 2015 to 2017. Young is a two-time graduate of UCLA, where he earned his BA in Economics and his MBA. He and his wife, Sophia, are parents to daughters Danielle (18) and Erin (14). The family of APW is his mission, but he also enjoys tennis, skiing, watching baseball and moderate exercising.
