The Automotive Aftermarket Association Southeast (AAAS) is busy gearing up for its 2018 Conference and Trade Show, to be held June 7--10 at the Sandestin Village of Baytowne Wharf in Miramar Beach, FL.
“Join AAAS members as we celebrate the association’s 80th year of service to those in the aftermarket industry,” AAAS Chairman Keith West said. “The schedule of events has a perfect balance of networking opportunities and fun activities for members and their families.”
West will kick off the conference on Thursday evening with the Chairman’s Welcome Reception. Friday morning will feature AAAS’ annual fishing expedition aboard the Relentless, sponsored by Federated Insurance. On Friday afternoon, the group will hold board meetings to attend to association business.
Friday evening’s reception will be hosted in collaboration with the Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG).
“We look forward to having YANG professionals join us on Friday evening,” West said. “Members of both groups have great experiences and perspectives to share. I hope YANG members will take advantage of our offer of free conference registration for YANG members and join us for the entire conference.”
AAAS will hold a Tabletop Trade Show during breakfast on Saturday before West delivers his Welcome and State of the Association Reports.
According to AAAS President Randal Ward, “The Saturday morning business program is composed of two very impressive guest speakers who will deliver timely and informative presentations on the most important topics facing the aftermarket industry.”
First, Auto Care Association President and CEO Bill Hanvey will share his perspective on the industry with attendees. Then, Tom Shay of Profits Plus will present “Improving Sales and Strategies to Win,” sponsored by Highline Aftermarket.
