The new BMW of Vista is in a large warehouse-type space off of the Emerald Drive exit on the 78 Freeway near Costco.
“We have the largest square-footage to stock parts of any BMW dealership in the county,” said Cox.
Cox is coming into his 34th year as a BMW parts manager and has acquired a team with similar BMW experience. According to Cox, everyone that he has hired to work at the dealership has quite a bit of prior BMW work experience.
“We probably have 50 years total BMW experience between me and the other 5 guys I have on the team now,” said Cox.
Accoridng to Cox, the dealership has been hiring people with up to 15 years of just BMW experience, not to mention the years of regular automotive experience these candidates had before being turned on to BMW.
“Our key is BMW experience,” said Cox.
The dealership will center around the “BMW parts experience” with their very knowledgeable and experienced staff, as well as the new technology that has been integrated into the dealership.
“Everything is the latest, technology-wise,” said Cox, “Our service writers will have iPads on the floor.”
