Don Wiseman has recently joined Airport Marina Ford as parts director. Wiseman came from the San Joaquin Valley over 20 years ago where he was an assistant parts manager and body shop repair order closer for a Ford dealer in Merced, California.
Stated Wiseman, “I enjoy wholesale parts sales and I look forward to a continued relationship with all the collision repair facilities here in the South Bay region of Los Angeles.” Tom Moreland
Akzo Nobel’s Tom Moreland, director of strategic accounts, has been selected as a member of the 2007/2008 I-CAR International Executive Committee as member-at-large. Prior to his elevation to the Executive Committee, Moreland had served on the 2006/2007 Board of Directors. Commenting on his appointment, Moreland said, “Akzo Nobel recognizes the significant contributions that I-CAR is making to the collision repair industry. I am just one of several at Akzo Nobel that are choosing to raise their hand to support the work of I-CAR. We are pleased to be able to share the time and talents of our valued team members to the betterment of the industry.” Roland Taube
The I-CAR Education Foundation has also selected an Akzo Nobel employee Roland Taube, market manager for the car refinishes Canadian market, to be vice-chair for its 2007/2008 Board of Trustees and Executive Committee. In acknowledging his appointment Taube commented, “The issue of creating and educating our current and future workforce is clearly one of our most critical industry challenges. Akzo Nobel, through its Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry Scholarship Program, has been a long time ardent supporter of the Education Foundation. I am pleased to be able to expand this proud tradition as a representative of the world’s largest coatings company.” |
