Several new programs and special events, including 16 new educational sessions, advanced product-specific sessions by ADP, CCC and Mitchell, as well as an Automated Claims Processing Town Hall, will be offered at NACE in December. Congress session tracks have been newly-defined as Shop Management, General Interest, Small Shop, Vehicle Repair, Lifestyle and Jobber to more specifically focus on attendees' particular business needs.
An Insurance Track has been added for claims professionals featuring CE accredited courses from CertifiedFirst and a CPCU Society session on Successful Negotiations. There will also be sessions recommended for dealer body shop professionals and jobbers.
On the exhibit floor, there will be a new Claims Process Pavilion, which will feature live product demonstrations, and the Action Demo Arena that will have demonstrations on the newest industry processes and techniques. This area will include demonstrations on structural and acoustical foam, surface preparation, auto glass repair, resistance spot welding, hybrid car safety and auto glass installation.
ASE will also be part of the NACE educational line-up by offering all five of its collision repair certification tests on Saturday, De-cember 6. This special testing session will take place at the Orange County Convention Center, the site for NACE, and will start at 8:30 a.m.
In addition, this year's NACE is endorsed by the National Auto Body Council (NABC) and the Florida Automotive Trades Association (FATA). Members of NABC, FATA and the Automotive Service Association (ASA) - the sponsoring organization of NACE - are eligible for NACE Congress registration discounts.
NACE 2003, the world's collision repair event, will be held December 4-7, at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida, USA, and is expected to draw an attendance of 30,000+ from around the globe.
It will feature more than 45 educational sessions and an Exposition with approximately 500 exhibiting companies.
"NACE is truly an industry-wide event and our new programs are designed to attract professionals from all segments of the collision repair industry," stated Dana Bellantone, NACE Show Director.
