Suzanne Worthen of Macon, Georgia, has been named assistant vice president of claims in GEICO’s Dallas office. Originally from Dallas, Worthen began her career with GEICO in 1986 as a total loss evaluator in the company’s North Dallas regional office. After advancing through technical training in the auto damage department, she became a total loss/total theft supervisor, independent field supervisor, auto damage field supervisor and internal team leader.
“I’m very excited about the new challenges ahead of me and look forward to working with the associates in Dallas again,” Worthen said of her new opportunity. “I was thrilled to see so many associates I worked with years ago.” In 1996, Worthen assumed the role of auto damage director of the company’s Middle Atlantic operations, based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She moved to Macon in 2003 to serve as general manager with responsibilities for centralized services, and became an officer in 2005. She holds a B.B.A. in management from Amber University in Garland, Texas. |
