The Collision Industry Advancement Initiative Advisory Committee (CIAI) will be taking applications for grant consideration for the upcoming fall session until the September 30 deadline. 

"The best things in life may be free, but the best ideas in life often need funding in order to become reality," said CIAI Advisory Council Chair Sheila Loftus. "That's what the Akzo Nobel Coatings Collision Industry Advancement Initiative is all about. It gives institutions, organizations, and individuals a financial boost so they can aid in the growth, advancement, and perception of the collision repair industry in North America.

"This is a great opportunity for people in the collision repair industry to fuel their dreams. Any individual, organization, or institution whose needs meet the mission statement are eligible. The time to talk is over. The time to act is now."

Requests to the Collision Repair Industry Advancement Foundation can be made through the Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes web site www.akzonobelcarrefinishes.net. The CIAI Advisory Council will review applications this fall and Akzo Nobel will then disburse funds based on the recommendation of the council.
