Collision Services, Inc. is celebrating its 20th year in business in 2006. Collision Services is a multi-million dollar, national mail order provider of tools, printing and marketing materials to nearly 20,000 collision repair bodyshops; now employing a staff of about 60.
"We are always expanding our 500-plus product catalog offerings by re-searching the market for new items, as well as manufacturing our own new innovative products," CEO Bob Richards said. "Collision Services was quick to use the Internet to expand our computerized operations, as we expanded our physical facilities. We are now delighted to be adding more good jobs in Hudson. Our employees have earned our reputation for quality products and prompt service, which will help keep us on a constant growth curve," Richards said. Richards founded CSI in 1986. Richards had served as a collision industry bodyshop owner since 1969. He also served as a traveling consultant and seminar leader for the 3M ARMS program. Since 1984, Richard's activities have been centered in his hometown of Hudson, Iowa, where he founded Collision Services, then the popular AutobodyOnline.com portal, which has over 25,000 visitors per week. Recently, he unveiled The Bob Richards Report, his new industry web log. Over the past twenty years, Richards wrote a Marketing Manual and conducted productivity seminars for over 4,000 bodyshop owners and managers from coast to coast, plus Canada and Mexico. |
