Thursday, 01 December 2005

Caliber Collision Centers, an Irvine, California-based collision repair facility operating in California and Texas, has opened a 14,000 sq. ft., collision repair center located in Plano, Texas.

According to Dan Pettigrew, President and CEO of Caliber, this advanced production repair facility, centrally located on the North Central Expressway, was designed to achieve the highest level of productivity and customer satisfaction. "The facility's size, location and production capabilities set it apart; we are excited to add another facility in the city of Plano and we look forward to the center being a leader in customer service, repair quality and cycle time," said Pettigrew.

The 14,000 sq. ft. facility expects tremendous growth because of its location, quality staff, and strong client relationships. "This is an excellent opportunity and a natural addition for Caliber," said Mark Sanders, Caliber's vp of operations for Texas. "We believe this new location fulfills a need felt by both consumers and insurance providers for high quality and efficient collision repairs in the Plano area."

Ben Stuckert will oversee the new Central Plano facility as the Center Manager. With over 27 years of experience in the collision repair industry, Stuckert will have overall responsibility for the center's day-to-day operations.

New CFO

In other news, Robert Genthert has been appointed Caliber's senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer.

"Bob's extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning, as well as his hands-on, operations-focused management approach will complement and support the talents of our senior management team," said Pettigrew. "We're confident that Bob's demonstrated ability to manage financial operations and field support functions in a competitive, rapidly changing environment will benefit the service and value we offer our internal and external customers and our insurance company clients."

"I'm very excited about the opportunity at Caliber Collision Centers," offered Genthert. "I look forward to working with the Caliber team and our board as we lead the company through the next stage of its development."
