Now is the time to make a difference. CAA is working at the state level to have collision industry-related issues heard and addressed by Sacramento. Now California industry professionals will have the opportunity to give input on the grassroots level.

On September 22, Assemblymen Rudy Bermudez and Marco Firebaugh, the Mayor of Bellflower, other local politicians, along with additional influential people that can make a difference, will be meeting with members of the auto body industry at 6:30 p.m. at West Auto Body, 17639 Bellflower Boulevard, Bellflower.

The topics for the evening are Senate Bill 551: Anti-steering law; worker's compensation reform; and the car buyers Bill of Rights.

Organizer Allan Brown, political liaison of the South Coast Chapter of CAA, voiced that "we cannot change the system unless we make all our voices heard and show our collective presence." He is encouraging industry professionals who are interested in attending to make plans now. "This powerful event is by V.I.P. invitation only. Seating is limited to 500 guests. Come and voice your opinions. Let the legislature know we need our industry standards and laws respected, protected and enforced!"

If you are interested in attending, please contact Allan or Isel Brown at (562) 529-8911 or via e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
