As an official sponsor of the SkillsUSA organization, ALLDATA LLC provided resources and judging for the Automotive Service Technology National Championships held June 25-29 in Kansas City. Before judging the finals, ALLDATA, which provides the Electronic Service Information test station, sent representatives to judge the annual competitions at the California regional and state levels.

        ALLDATA provides manufacturers’ service and repair information, shop management software and customer relations tools for the automotive repair and collision industries. This is the eighth year that the company has been involved with the regional, state or national SkillsUSA competitions. At this year’s national championships, more than 5,000 students competed in 87 occupational and leadership skill areas.

        SkillsUSA is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and is cited as a “successful model of employer-driven youth development training program” by the U.S. Department of Labor. Through education and standardization programs, SkillsUSA seeks to provide qualified workers for America’s trade, technical and skilled service occupations.
